Eye creams are huge sellers in the anti-aging industry because eyes age the fastest. But how do you know which eye cream to buy? And which eye creams are the best? Of course nobody wants to spend a fortune on anti-aging creams and drug stores have the cheapest products. Good Morning America’s Elisabeth Leamy has asked dermatologists what to look for in eye creams, and what is the best drug store eye cream.

Which eye cream is best for me?

To determine what the best drug store eye cream is for you, you will need to establish what your “problem” areas are.  Eye creams target these main problems: wrinkles and crow’s feet, dark circles, and puffiness. Look for the eye cream that targets those problems.

Look for key ingredients

Dermatologists agree that retinol is the key ingredient to anti-aging. Retinol comes from Vitamin A. It helps to increase collagen and elasticity, helping to decrease fine lines. This is best for wrinkles and crow’s feet. For dark circles, caffeine is considered the best ingredient.

Oil of Olay Regenerist eye cream

GMA’s Elisabeth Leamy discovered that the dermatologist “dream team” concluded Oil of Olay’s regenerist to be the best drug store eye cream. It retails for $22.
