Everyone knows that men are responsible for the large majority of physical violence in the world, but how often do we ask ourselves why? A new initiative called The Mask You Live In takes on the issue of male insecurity. Men struggle with fear, anger and emotional pain just as much as women do, but so many refuse to talk about, and go to incredible lengths to cover up those emotions.
Is this a problem we can tackle? What would happen if boys and men felt free to express their deeper insecurities?
It’s a question worth asking.
