Sarah Brame was fishing in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina when she caught more than she bargained for. A shark jumped out of the water and snatched her fish as she reeled it in. The shark caught everyone by surprise, especially Sarah Brame and her Fiance Will Moore, who was fishing next to her.

It was discovered that the kind of shark Sarah caught was a bull shark. According to Sarah’s family the shark was about 4-6 feet weighing around 200 pounds. According to Wikipedia the bull shark, also known as the Zambezi shark, is commonly found in warm, shallow waters along coasts and rivers. It is able to survive in both fresh and salt waters.

The bull shark is aggressive in nature, which is what scared Sarah Brame the most. She stated in an interview “I thought the shark was going to jump up and get me!” Check out the shark video to see for yourself as a woman catches shark while fishing.
