Flooding in Romania has left at least 4 people dead and forced hundreds of others to flee their homes, causing chaos in the southeast European country. Heavy rainfall in the past few days has swamped the central and western regions of the country. Rivers have risen over their banks, causing roads to become inaccessible. Rising water levels have also slowed down evacuations as many streets have been turned into rivers, Reuters reported. Local authorities say more than 700 homes and warehouses have been damaged, as well as nearly 4,000 hectares of forest.
