Almost eleven years after 9/11, the disturbing and horrifying event remain etched in our memories. The series of four suicide attacks that were committed in the United States and became the reason for the US-led War On terror, not only traumatized everyone but have marked world in ways unknown.
The fact that the atrocious, most visually striking attacks occurred in New York City also meant that many photographers and news reporters were on the scene when the terrorists struck into the Twin Towers.
