Anthony Weiner's Wife Is Pregnant

Anthony Weiner's wife Huma Abedin is pregnant with her first child, the The New York Times reports. The news of Abedin's pregnancy, which is believed to be in its early stages, adds an unfortunate new dimension to the online sex scandal that's quickly unraveled in the public's eye over the last week.

After Weiner admitted to engaging in sexually-charged online conversations and photo swapping with six women over the last few years, many wondered if Weiner could save his marriage to Abedin, who is a long-time aide to Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

According to three unnamed sources speaking to the NYT, 46-year-old Weiner and 35-year-old Abedin had already disclosed news of the pregnancy to friends and family. Weiner has already said they will not split up or divorce over the matter, saying “We will weather this,” during his press conference on Monday. “I love her very much, and she loves me.”

Abedin wasn't present with Weiner during the press conference and has remained silent about the scandal. Her take on entire fiasco isn't expected anytime soon, either, as she is already back to work and boarded a flight Wednesday with Clinton for a trip to Northern Africa.
