The dominoes seem to be falling fast on Arnold Schwarzenegger, as it was revealed today that he didn't voluntarily confess to wife Maria Shriver that he fathered a love child with housekeeper Mildred Baena. Shriver had to pry it out of the two first, according to RadarOnline and Star magazine.
Schwarzenegger reportedly only confessed after Shriver first confronted Baena, who broke down and admitted that Arnold was the father of her child. With that knowledge, Shriver then confronted her husband, who then confessed as well.
Arnold danced around the confession issue earlier this week in his only public statement about the matter, in which he proclaimed "after leaving the governor's office I told my wife about this event, which occurred over a decade ago," not lying but also leaving out the all important detail that his wife caught him, not that he openly volunteered the information.
"Maria has suspected this for a long time and she asked the housekeeper," a source apparently close to the situation told RadarOnline and Star.
Baena couldn’t carry the secret any more according to another source.
"It’s amazing she didn’t crack before this," the source said.

A friend of Baena's also told RadarOnlne.com that the woman, who goes by Mildred and Patty, was never fired by Arnold as previously reported by some outlets. "She was upset with Arnold at the time and didn’t know what to do, she thought about going public, but it was a fleeting thought. Ultimately she didn’t want to hurt Arnold. But she also didn’t want her employment to end."
