An artist who saw the mysterious “Angel Priest” save a woman from a car accident this week in Missouri has since drawn up a sketch of the mysterious savior and posted it online. A man named Randall Sands created the detailed portrait using computer sketch software. The Angel Priest, despite spending nearly an hour at the scene, does not appear in any of the 80 pictures taken at the scene.
Katie Lentz, the woman the angel helped saved, is recovery from the crash is a Missouri hospital, and wishes to find and meet the being that saved her life. The Angel Priest arrived soon after the crash, prayed with the woman, and then vanished just as she was saved. The religious and mysterious overtones have led to the priest being hailed as a guardian from heaven.
Despite the clamor for the angel priest, Missouri police do not plan to search for him. In an official statement, Jefferson Police stated:
“Out of respect for the privacy of any priest who may have been involved and does not wish to come forward, the Diocese does not plan to further investigate this incident. The Diocese is grateful that a priest was able to exercise his ministry in this manner and requests prayers for healing of the victim, as well as prayers of thanks.”
It is possible that the Priest was a spirit, or maybe he was just a nice dude. This amazing story may never have a true conclusion. Maybe that’s OK.
