Asiana Airlines Flight 214 Crash Landing Caught On Camera (VIDEO)

Asiana Flight 214 crashed on landing on Saturday, killing the two 16-year-old students from eastern China and injuring more than 180 other people.

Eyewitnesses and survivors have described a sceneof chaos in the aftermath of the crash as emergency responders scrambled to aid passengers fleeing the plane.

CNN has obtained an amateur video of the unfortunate incident. The video was shot by Fred Hayes, an "aviation buff," who was watching planes land when the flight crashed. Hayes said he shot the video about a mile from the crash scene.

Asiana Airlines Inc said the pilot in charge of landing the Boeing 777 was training for the long-range plane and that it was his first flight to the airport with the jet.

The plane was travelling "significantly below" its intended speed and its crew tried to abort the landing just seconds before it hit the seawall in front of the runway, the U.S. National Transportation Safety Board said on Sunday.

Take a look how the crash took place and Fred’s interview in the CNN video above.
