Beyonce and Jay-Z were among the most highlighted celebrities present at Present Barack Obama’s inauguration. However, the main spotlight was Beyonce’s performance of ‘America the Beautiful.’
A loud cheer welcomed the 31-year-old singer and her rapper husband as they made a grand entrance at the ceremonial swearing-in at the U.S. Capitol in Washington, DC.
This is not the first time Beyonce has helped Obama celebrate a Presidential term. She sang Etta James' classic "At Last" at his 2009 inauguration. Today, however, she opted for a timeless classic, as did singer/songwriter James Taylor, who sang "America the Beautiful."

No doubt her presence as well as performance was so magnificent that it completely overshadowed Kelly Clarkson’s performance during the ceremony which was no doubt quite moving in its own way, but of course no match to Beyonce’s magical and charismatic presence!
