Beyonce Knowles’ performance at the inaugural has sparked a controversy so big that everyone now is much more interested in knowing the truth about her. Suddenly, the ceremony, the First Lady, her dress and her eye roll, the First Family and even the president of the United States isn’t important anymore.

According to recent reports, her flawless performance of ‘The Star Spangled Banner’ was lip-synched. This is quite a bit of a shock for her fans and especially for the people who attended the inauguration. The emotional performance is now appearing as a joke to many after the news of lip-synching.

US Marine Band first told the United States media outlets that the national anthem performance at the inauguration sung by Beyonce Knowles was lip-synched since songs are always pre-recorded for such events. Later, another statement was released saying, “Regarding Ms. Knowles-Carter’s vocal performance, no one in the Marine Band is in a position to assess whether it was live or pre-recorded.”

Speculations regarding the songs sung by Kelly Clarkson and James Taylor are also being made to which their publicists have replied that both were live.

The mixed revelations have caused a stir in the international media and everyone is out there to find out the truth. One thing is for sure, Knowles’ fans are going to be very disappointed if the rumors turn out to be true.
