Birds In The New York Sky Merge To Form A Familiar Russian Face

Is it a bird? Is it a plane! Oh no, wait, it’s Vladimir Putin.

Birds of a feather flock together but in this case, they merge to form a very familiar face.

Sheryl Gilbert, a passerby crossing the Williamsburg Bridge in Brooklyn this week, saw thousands of birds come together in the sky. As Gilbert started to film the unusual activity, suddenly a face began to emerge in the swarm: Russian President Vladimir Putin.

The video uploaded on YouTube last week has more than 1 million views and, of course, some playful comments. One Russian commenter stated: “This is a warning to the United States not to start a war with Russia.” Another joked: “Look up in the sky! It's a bird! It's a plane! No, it's a Super Putin!”

Gilbert’s husband, Gregory West, tweeted the video saying: “Saw it several days ago during a trip and that’s amazing! Can you see the face? Who is it?”

Viewers see everyone from Robin Williams to Steve Jobs in the birds.

Some people find the video a tad suspicious, and while Gilbert and her husband swear it's true, a number of people doubt the authenticity of the video.
