Brown Family Releases Bobbi Kristina Statement

Despite rumors that Bobbi Kristina Brown, daughter of the late Whitney Houston, will be taken off life support Wednesday – the three-year anniversary of Houston’s death – the family has confirmed there is no truth to that story. TMZ and other news outlets reported early this morning that Bobby Brown and Houston’s mother, Cissy, agreed to take the 21-year-old Brown off life support this Wednesday. A Houston family source denied these reports to US Weekly. Bobby Brown’s lawyer issued a statement clarifying that there is no truth that Bobbi Kristina will be taken off life support.

Bobbi Kristina has been in a medically-induced coma since she was found unresponsive in a bathtub on January 31. The cause remains unknown, but police are investigating Bobbi Kristina’s boyfriend, Nick Gordon, under suspicion of foul play. The circumstances surrounding this incident are uncannily similar to Houston’s death three years ago when she was found in a bathtub and died.
