Advances in DNA testing have allegedly linked long-time suspect Albert DeSalvo to the last of the 1960s killings blamed on the Boston Strangler.
 
Suffolk District Attorney Daniel Conley told reporters the DNA produced a "familial match" with DeSalvo in the 1964 rape and murder of Mary Sullivan. Mr Conley said DeSalvo's remains are being exhumed to verify the results but added initial tests have excluded 99.99% of other possible suspects.
