It's hard to fathom how more than 200 Nigerian girls could just vanish, kidnapped by a terrorist group whose leader has promised to sell the girls as slaves.
Protests are mounting internationally for the Nigerian government to step up efforts to save the girls kidnapped April 14 by Boko Haram, a militant Islamist group whose name means "Western education is forbidden." Boko Haram terrorists kidnapped the girls from a boarding school dormitory in Chibok.
While about 50 escaped, 223 girls are still believed to be captive, and Boko Haram's leader promised in a chilling video to "sell them in the marketplace." Meanwhile, protestors, many using the hashtag #bringbackourgirls, are demonstrating around the world and demanding every girl's safe return.
