Eric Pickles, a British Local Government minister, proved to his Twitter fans that he can not only take a joke but can also return the favor. Chancellor George Osborne poked fun at Pickles during his spending review speech, calling him “the model of lean government.”

But what he didn’t know was that the following Twitter picture of him eating a gourmet burger could be misused, and it was!

Eric Pickles posted a picture of himself eating salad in the same pose indirectly telling Osborne that he was indeed the model of lean government, at least in his dietary choices:

But Twitter users didn’t seem to agree with Pickles because they took on the task of photo-shopping his image and editing different foods into the original “salad” picture:
