Madison Lambe will never forget the Christmas of 2013. How could she, when the 12-year-old had a Prince posing with her in a photo?
Madison went to Sandringham Estate hoping to catch a glimpse of the royal family walking to church when Prince William stopped to take a selfie with her.
She was so shocked and excited that she could barely operate her phone. Prince William came to her rescue and took the photo instead.
The Prince also commented, "you can't beat a good selfie on Christmas Day."
"He didn't seem bothered that I asked him,"She said. "He was really nice."
It all started with a dare from her mother and luckily for her, the Prince was in a mood to comply.
Since then, she has been showing off her selfie with pride on Facebook.
This is not Prince William’s first indulgence with fan selfies.

It’s easy to imagine the royal family as austere and unapproachable but both Prince William and Prince Henry have shown signs of their mother’s (late Princess Diana’s) affability. His wife Duchess Kate Middleton is also known to warmly mingle with ordinary folks.
All signs show little Prince George has great and fun parents to grow up with.
