In a hilarious example of a real newspaper taking a satirical one, Chinese paper The People’s Daily published a story congratulating North Korean leader Kim-Jong-un on being named 2012’s Sexiest Man Alive by a report by The Onion.  The People’s Daily published a 55-page slideshow of Kim’s images in varying degrees of his sexiness. These include photos of Kim riding a horse, posing with military leaders and holding a rifle.

However, an online editor of the People’s Daily said that the photo spread will be removed from the website. "We have realized it is satirical," said the editor without disclosing his name.

The chief editor for the People’s Daily English Channel, where the story also ran, also declined to comment.  "I can't say anything yet," she said, only giving out her surname, Wang.
