The single, created in collaboration with FamilyShare, is Rice's way of honoring American heroes of war.

Former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice has a lot going on to keep her busy. Her Facebook bio describes her as a golfer ...

.... an avid football fan ...

... and a pianist.

Rice, who trained as a classical pianist, put one of her many talents to use this Fourth of July and paid tribute to U.S. servicemen and servicewomen of the past and future. She teamed up with violinist Jenny Oaks for a majestic rendition of "Amazing Grace."

Writing about her single on Facebook, Rice said, "It seemed only appropriate that we release this video in conjunction with the 4th of July weekend, as we recognize the blessings we have in this country and the sacrifices of our servicemen and servicewomen for our freedom."

As Rice and Oaks played to an empty church, videos of soldiers going to war for the country are projected over them, a reminder of the scores of brave men and women who make freedom, and its celebrations, possible for us.
