Real Madrid forward Cristiano Ronaldo unveiled his statue at Madrid's wax museum on Saturday
Posing next to his wax figure clad in a Portugal national jersey, Ronaldo thanked the museum for their work.
"It is a pleasure for me to have a figure almost like me. Thanks very much, have a good day," he said.
Hundreds of fans crowded the museum to take a glimpse of the forward.
A Portugal-born fan Joao was visiting the museum to see his country fellowman Ronaldo.
"I think it is very real, very similar. I think it is good to have him with the national team jersey because if he moves to another club the figure would still be valid," he said before posing with the statue.
Ronaldo, who is suspended, did not travel to Xativa, Valencia, to play in Real's King´s Cup match against third tier Olimpic Xativa.
