Unfortunately this is not the only such incident that has taken place at Chy Bar in Newquay, Cornwall.  It seems the place is a magnet for underage careless drinkers. Consequently Newquay police are preparing to tackle the summer influx of partygoers with great planning. But no amount of efforts has been able to make a difference in the past.

By the time the youth reach 15, more than eight out of 10 have already tried alcohol in UK. Even though, thankfully the drinking in underage people has decreased recently, people still lose control of their drinking and get n to trouble more often than not.

With Olympics and the resultant influx of tourists and holiday merrymaking on the horizon, local authorities and police in the Newquay are will have to place strict rules and be more diligent than before. They do have strong checks and balances in place but they have lost a number of their manpower to the Olympic security planning.

Here’s hoping this summer goes event free and may the merrymakers go home safe and sound.
