US Elections 2012 was a massive event to be covered and reported everywhere in the world. But in some European countries like Netherlands election ended in the middle of the night.

In order to avoid any sort of journalistic gaffe Dutch tabloid ‘Sp!ts  came up with a novel way of getting the facts right before knowing what the right facts are. The Amsterdam-based daily decided to play safe by printing two front pages side by side with two potential outcomes of election.

To further simplify matters, above each cover, the placed the disclaimer ‘If [the other candidate] won, skip page.’

Within the next couple of hours the Romney half of the newspaper became more or less useless.
