Yet another disturbing video has emerged on YouTube in which an Egyptian man appears to carry a wounded man to safety and gets shot.
The footage tells a lot about the madness going on in Egypt right now where the army is carrying out a massacre of pro-Morsi activists protesting for the reinstatement of the ousted Egyptian President.
The horrifying moment was captured on camera at the main protest camp near the Rabaa al-Adawiyah mosque in eastern Cairo.
According to EU envoy Bernardino Leon, the bloodshed could’ve been prevented had the Egyptian army not rejected a peace deal, a political plan offered by Western allies that had been accepted by the Muslim Brotherhood in order to end the protests.
The Egyptian Health Ministry has put the official death toll of the violence at 638 though the number of deaths is expected to rise.
Last month, an equally distressing video appeared on various websites recorded by an Egyptian photojournalist who accidentally filmed his own death on camera. He was too shot by Egyptian military snipers.
Egypt is going through turmoil. It all began when millions of Egyptians flooded into the streets on the first anniversary of “Islamist” President Mohamed Morsi's inauguration on Sunday demanding his resignation marking the largest demonstrations since 2011 and probably the biggest protests in the country’s history! After his ouster, the supporters of Mohamed Morsi continue their sit-ins as the fate of Egypt as a whole remains undecided.
