Watch This Heartbreaking Statement By The Family Of The Chapel Hill Victims

Three young people are gunned down in the prime of their lives, and their family is devastated.

The country is wondering why. Why did a man allegedly murder three young college students in a parking lot? No one wants answers more than the victims' family.

At a press conference, Suzanne Barakat bravely spoke about her relatives, fatally shot in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. She’s the oldest sibling of three of the mourning family.

She talks about her brother Deah Barakat, and his wife and sister-in-law Yusor Abu-Salha and Razan Abu-Salha who “served as role models to the youth.”

They were shot outside their home, allegedly by their neighbor, Craig Hicks, in what police have called a parking dispute. But news of the event sparked an international reaction, leading to the hashtag #MuslimLivesMatter trending on social media.
