Madagascar has been hit with non-stop, devastating events the last few months, and not many people have heard about it.

Flooding in Madagascar's

Madagascar--a beautiful country that has been depicted in a hysterical children's movie, needs help.

Over the last few months, there has been a drought which has lead to plague and famine, and recently, torrential downpours which have led to devastating floods.

Children are starving with nothing to eat. People are dying from sickness. Homes are getting destroyed in the floods.

In the little time they had to get back on their feet after the drought, the rainy season came much too fast and hard. The rain did not help the crops that were already destroyed by the drought.

It is estimated that over 100,000 people have been displaced from their homes. Meanwhile, water sources and rice fields have been completely wiped out.

Recently, the Red Cross has gone to Madagascar to help out as much as they can, but it is going to be a while before things are back to normal.
