Despite his hate and bigotry (and tax evasion), Donald Trump may have become the president of the United States but it certainly doesn’t mean hate and bigotry have won.
Tens of thousands of people are coming together during his inauguration week to show Trump that his victory is not going to be easy for him – that he will have to face resistance, questions and criticism, just like all other incumbents of the highest office in the country did before him.
Of the many protests planned, Women’s March on Washington is expected to be the biggest and, judging by the number of attendees aboard packed flights en route to the capital city, the best.
Have a look at some of these photos:
A lot of Women’s March attendees were easily identifiable because of their pink power pussyhats:
In one instance, a flight attendant on a Spirit Airlines plane applauded the “nasty women” on her flight, with the following message:
“You guys are going to the Women's March, right? Let's get a round of applause for all the nasty women on board. Stay safe, stay hydrated, have a good time, watch out for your fellow sisters. Just remember, we don't take no 'ish' from no man.”
Powerful stuff, isn’t it?
