After Karl Rove’s meltdown during the live coverage of the US presidential elections 2012 on FOX, it appears that the network is taking some precautionary measures…

The live coverage of the US Presidential elections 2012 saw Karl Rove losing his cool and being in denial, but that’s not all! Karl was the butt of many jokes that came in days after the live election coverage.

Now New York’s Gabriel Sherman reports that Fox News is taking some precautionary measure and cutting up the time for the Republican pundit! Karl Rove is being reprimanded for his behavior with the network cutting off some serious airtime from him.

Rove, in a fit of anger kept insisting that the election wasn’t over until it was over, even after the network and others around the country had called Ohio in favor of democratic candidate and President Obama. That didn’t sit down too well with FOX News chief Roger Ailes who had before the live broadcast, apparently warned his staff to hold it together on the Election Night.

Whether this is just a step towards Fox News shedding their very one-sided image post the Republican loss, remains to be seen. For now, we can only be thankful that we’ll see less of Karl Rove and that producers have to take permission before booking him for a show, and maybe that itself is a blessing in disguise.
