Even though the 2012 race to White House has not ended yet, we have gazillion moments and incidents that have taken place so far that can be termed as unforgettable. While we are ready for a lot more of such moments in the days to come, here are the top five unforgettable moments of Us Elections 2012 so far!
1. Romney’s Binders
The most recent of all, is Republican Presidential candidate Mitt Romney’s ‘Binders Full of Women’. During the second presidential debate while talking about his pro-women policies he said that he received ‘binders full of women’ when looking for female candidates in his Massachusetts administration.
The gaffe quickly became a trending topic on Twitter and also inspired a website. The blunder in the sentence shows President Obama’s pressure on his challenger.
2. Big Bird
Big Bird was made an overnight internet sensation, thanks to Mitt Romney and his ‘examples’. In the first presidential debate Republican challenger told moderator Jim Lehrer that he would cut government funding for PBS and Big Bird.
3. Clint Eastwood’s Empty Chair
How can anyone possibly forget Clint Eastwood’s speech at the Republican National Convention? The speech in which veteran Hollywood actor, Clint Eastwood addressed an empty chair as President Obama, and pioneered a new field of spiritual science known as #Eastwooding –a form of spirituality that enables you to talk to empty chairs.

4. Laughing Joe Biden
Vice President Joe Biden might be the most gaffe prone politician, but in his vice presidential debate with Paul Ryan it was his smile that quickly became the most talked about topic.
Biden’s action did not mean offense; he was actually too busy rehearsing for an upcoming toothpaste endorsement.
5. Ryan Gym Workout Photos
GOP vice presidential candidate Paul Ryan gym work out photos named as ‘Hey Girl, Its Paul Ryan’ generated a firestorm all over the internet. These photos appeared just a day before vice presidential debate.
Maybe, Ryan had a wrong idea about how vice presidential debates take place in US. You have to defeat your opponent with words, not with your biceps!
