Hammerhead Shark Caught On Camera Swimming Around A Group Of Swimmers

You would think humans and sharks should usually go in opposite directions. This video shows otherwise.

Most swimmers who spot a shark paddle like crazy to get away. But a group of snorkelers captured on video instead seem enthralled and unafraid as they encounter a 4-meter great hammerhead shark.

Instead of heading in the opposite direction, the snorkelers instead trail behind the shark through the crystal clear water.

The footage was captured by the captain of an Aqua Cat cruise in Hurricane Hole Marina in New Providence, Bahamas.

Luckily, according to a spokesperson for the Bahamas National Trust, “although these sharks certainly have the ability to cause harm, they rarely even acknowledge divers in the water.”
