Driving to one of only two U.S. states he'd never visited, New Yorker Irv Gordon rolls into Alaska and clocks in 3 million miles on his Volvo P1800.

He remains the Guinness Book of World Records' driver with the most miles driven in one car by a single owner.

But this isn't the first time he's showing off his prized set of wheels.

He first made it into the Guinness Book of World Records in 2002, when his odometer ticked over 2 million miles, the greatest milage for a non-commercial vehicle ever recorded.
