Gym Teacher Drags Girl Into Swimming Pool

A Central California gym teacher is shown dragging and forcing a 14-year-old girl into the swimming pool. And it’s caught on video.

Lesson #1 Stay away from Denny Peterson, especially if you don’t want to swim.

The gym teacher, formerly at Edison High in Stockton Central California, is shown in a video dragging a student Sandra Garcia into the swimming pool after the student refused to get in.

Peterson is now facing a charge of corporal injury to a child.

The incident, which happened in August, was filmed via smartphone by a fellow student.

“My top is falling down!” Garcia, 14, screams as Peterson can be seen dragging her around the deck and finally into the pool.

Garcia says that she initially got into the pool, but didn’t want to fully submerge. She had her hair done for an event that night.

Garcia's attorney Gilbert Somera told the Associated Press that she was left with scratches and bruises on her back after being dragged.

"When you have been bullied by an adult in front of your classmates, it places you in a very distressing situation," Somera said. "It's embarrassing for a young girl like that."

It certainly looks like that.
