A video making rounds on the internet shows the shocking torment suffered by a 10-year-old boy on his way to school. Cequan Haskins was viciously bullied on school bus in May 2011 and the video of it was released publicly by the boy’s mother at a press conference in Appomattox County, Virginia.
The station reports that video of physical and verbal abuse goes on for forty minutes and includes racial and sexual slurs, along with Cequan screaming as two 15-year-old boys allegedly hold a cigarette lighter to his skin. It is also important to mention here that bus driver Nancy Davis can also be heard to be seemingly encouraging the abuse though she was acquitted from all charges a couple of months ago. "Ugh, anything to get him quiet! I've got to drive this bus." Davis said.
Reports reveal that both boys involved in the video have been found guilty of disorderly conduct, assault and battery. According to Cequan’s mother Roxanne, she wants all parents to be aware that she is speaking on behalf of all kids.
Parents should be aware about what does their kid go through in the school system. A similar incident of bus bullying took place back in May when an upsetting footage of a bus monitor Karen Klein emerged.
