The world today is different from several years ago. Generation x gets its news coverage pretty much as it happens, i.e. real time through twitter.

Twitter has been most instrumental in getting news out as it happens. Whether it was the Iranian revolution, the Egyptian uprising and subsequent removal of Hosni Mobarak or Charlie Sheen – or for that matter any other significant events that make history. The fact of the matter is that people now turn towards their hand held devices, mobile phones and computer screens heralds the new era for communication.

Today was no different – today, Osama Bin Laden – the most wanted man in the world was killed in Abbottabad, in Islamabad Pakistan. From the White House President Obama in his address about the entire operation which took place with the help of navy seals called it ‘justice’. How the events exactly unfolded is difficult to get to know for sure – was it not for twitter.Pakistan, Islamabad, Abbottabad, osama bin laden dead, twitter, shoaib ather, reallyvirtual, al qaeda, navy seals, president obama, 9/11, white house, obama address, osama death, osama bin laden, death, news, breaking news, carbonated.tv, carbonated tv,
