Hypocrisy! Rock The Vote Celebrities Didn't Vote

#TURNOUTFORWHAT video featured public figures encouraging people to vote.

Celebrities - they're just like us!  They don't vote.

A Rock The Vote video, #TURNOUTFORWHAT, featured Lil Jon and his "Turn Down For What" smash hit.  Celebrities explained to non-famous people why they planned to vote in the elections.

Sounds like a fantastic idea to get younger voters into the booth, right?

Not so much. According to public records, "Girls" actress Lena Dunham, comedian Whoopi Goldberg, "Orange is the New Black" actress Natasha Lyonne, "Rich Kids of Beverly Hills" star E.J. Johnson, and actor Darren Criss did not vote.

As the news got out, a Rock The Vote spokeswoman sent an e-mail to The Washington Post:

"The talent who participate in our campaigns are registered to vote and have pledged to turn out this Tuesday and in upcoming elections. We believe individuals who have missed opportunities to vote in the past should not be disqualified from committing to participate in the political process in the future, and helping spread a positive message of civic engagement."

Blah, blah, blah. If you say you're going to vote, do it! (That goes for you regular folks too)
