Idaho Shooter Captured Outside White House, Says Aliens Made Him Do It

The suspected shooter of an Idaho pastor was captured outside of the White House, and he is claiming that the Martians are responsible for his actions.

Kyle Odom, a 30-year-old former Marine, was arrested outside the White House on Wednesday after throwing “unknown material” over the south fence. Odom is the suspected shooter of noted Idaho pastor Rev. Tim Remington.

According to USA Today, “Odom had been the subject of a manhunt since police say he shot…Remington several times in the parking lot of the Altar Church in Coeur d'Alene after services Sunday. Remington remains hospitalized in stable condition.”

Remington spoke at an even for Ted Cruz only a day earlier.

Odom, who has a history of mental illness, justified his killing in a very interesting way through his 21-page manifesto: he claimed the Martians made him do it.

“Odom…explains that his life was ruined by an intelligent species from Mars whose technology is ‘millions of years’ more advanced than ours. The Martians wanted him as a sex slave as part of their breeding stock of humans whose offspring walk among us…Martians from Mars live deep in the Earth,” USA Today notes.

Odom also believes 16 of our senators, including Mitch McConnell, are Martians (considering his extreme views, this is actually not out of the realm of possibility).

He ends his manifesto by saying, “My last resort was to take actions to bring this to the public's attention. I hope something good comes of it. Just realize that I'm a good person and I'm completely innocent."

He is currently in custody of the Secret Service.
