Imran Khan emerged onto the Pakistani politics scene some 15 years ago with his party Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, PTI. A cricketer for most of his life, Imran has captained the Pakistani Cricket team to its’ only World Cup victory in 1992.

With the 30th October rally in Lahore, Imran Khan has now emerged on the Pakistani political scene as a full on contender. And with the voice of reason behind him, it is little wonder that Imran Khan is turning out to be the number one choice for the Pakistani youth.

But really, are things exactly as they seem? Isn’t the emergence of Imran Khan with all guns blazing raising some serious questions?
