Conroy, who was working for The (London) Sunday Times, was injured when a rocket hit a makeshift media centre in the flashpoint city of Homs last week.

French journalist Edith Bouvier, a reporter for the daily Le Figaro who also was injured, is safely in Lebanon too, Syrian opposition cited by Reuters said today.

Veteran US journalist Marie Colvin, who was working for The (London) Sunday Times, and French photojournalist Remi Ochlik, with the IP3 Press agency, were killed in the rocket attack.
