"My father is an incredible unifier. For every critic, I would say give him time. Let him come into office. Let him prove you wrong,” Ivanka Trump told ABC.

President-elect Donald Trump’s daughter Ivanka Trump made hilarious claims in her recent interview with ABC news where she literally begged America to give her father a chance.

Despite the numerous claims of misogyny, xenophobia, Islamophobia, racism, and sexism made against the business mogul, Ivanka begged American citizens to let Trump have his chance at presidency.

"My father is an incredible unifier. For every critic, I would say give him time. Let him come into office. Let him prove you wrong,” the 35-year-old businesswoman told ABC.

Interestingly, Trump has done nothing but divide the country by singling out African-American, Muslims, Mexicans, women, and people from minority communities. He even mocked the disabled and got into a battle of words with popular news agencies like CNN – therefore calling him a “unifier” is kind of an over statement.

Probably her dictionary has another meaning to the term “unifier.”

She also had a message for the numerous anti-trump protestors who are worrying that the Republican administration will do anything but make America great again.

“I say, give my father a chance,” she said.

When asked about Trump’s ever famous (read: cringe worthy) tweets, she said, “of course, at times, I tell him not to.”

She also talked in favor of her step mother, “There is one first lady and Melania will be an incredible first lady. I'm proud of her. She is intelligent, warm, caring and a remarkable person.”

But the incoming first daughter was careful and mentioned her own roles in the interview as well.

"My focus is moving to Washington, travelling around the country and listening and getting great feedback on how I can add positive value," she added.

When asked if she will call her father “Mr. President,” Ivanka commented, “He is always Dad.”

Well, one can only hope the billionaire mogul will approach the role with more responsibility and maturity and won’t lead the country towards downfall.
