Japan: Nuclear Radiation Levels

The clock seems to be ticking at double the rate as the Japanese workers toil towards getting the electric supply to the volatile nuclear reactors. These nuclear reactors in the Fukushima Dai-ichi complex are overheating due to the lack of water in their cooling pools. If this is not curtailed it might lead to lethal radioactive materials being leaked causing major devastation. With each passing moment the fear of the explosion of the third reactor is increasing. At the same time all the evacuees and victims of the tsunami are being thoroughly tested for radiation as two reactors have already exploded due to over heating. The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Chairman Gregory Jaczko has also shown concern over the matter. However, confirming the exact status of these reactors is not possible for safety reasons. And thus, only assumptions can be made from far away.
