Apparently the gun lobby's main chatting point has become, "Let's not talk about it." You get to hear influential pundits over and over again, on television about how inappropriate it is to mention gun control, whenever a shooting incident makes it to the national news.
Jon Stewarton ‘The Daily Show’ addressed the controversy over the murder-suicide of NFL linebacker Javon Belcher and the arbitrary way the pundits over different networks decide when it is suitable to talk about gun violence after an act of such violence has been committed.
Stewart focused on the variations in the judgment behind such opinions and arguments, particularly at Fox News. He brought up the commentary by Bob Costas, who infuriated what seems like everyone at Fox News for having the nerve to express an opinion on guns in the wake of the tragic Belcher murder-suicide.
Jon Stewart tried to decipher that where and when, by Fox’s standards, it would be appropriate to talk about gun control in the wake of incidents of gun violence. It appears that, the answers are "never" and "only Ted Nugent".
