The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are gearing up for their first anniversary. While they are at it, preparations are also a-foot for the celebrations. Madame Tussaud's has given tribute to the young royal couple in their very own fashion by immortalizing the young royal couple in wax. The wax figures of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are placed at Madame Tussaud's in London, New York and Amsterdam.
The London figures depict the couple’s engagement photo, while the New York ones depict the royals at the BAFTA "Brits to Watch" Awards in Los Angeles. At the cost of 300,000 U.S. dollars (190,000 pounds) each, the figures were created in four months.
Kate and William and no doubt the entire royal family and the people of Great Britain will be celebrating the couple’s first wedding anniversary on April 29th this year.
