Kellyanne Conway on Jill Stein's vote recount: "The idea that we are going to drag this out" is "pretty incredible" https://t.co/3I2jZb8BMe— CNN Politics (@CNNPolitics) November 27, 2016
After more than a year of watching Kellyanne Conway on television, everyone more or less knows that she would use the most outrageous of lies and excuses to defend Donald Trump.
For instance, she once defended rape accusations against Trump by saying he couldn’t be a rapist because he never assaulted her. Also, when Trump was accused of numerous charity frauds, she came to her boss’ defense by saying he didn’t need to steal donations because he had already given the biggest philanthropic gift of his life to the American people by running for president.
So, Conway is totally capable of going overboard with her admiration for Trump.
She did it again recently, during CNN interview when she called the president-elect “gracious and magnanimous” for deciding not to prosecute Hillary Clinton for crimes that do not exist.
While addressing Trump’s decision to not “lock up” Clinton — as he had previously promised — after winning the election, Conway said, “He’s been incredibly gracious and magnanimous to Secretary Clinton at a time when, for whatever reason, her folks are saying they will join in a recount to try to somehow undo the 70-plus electoral votes that he beat her by.”
Trump’s manager was referring to reports about the Clinton campaign’s recent decision to take part in a recount of Wisconsin votes, an effort Republican winner Donald Trump called "ridiculous.”
