Kim Jong-Un Decrees No One Else Can Have His Name

What other oddities has Kim banned? Kim Jong-Un, has decreed that no one else can be named Kim Jong-Un. If anyone else has that name already, too bad, they’re going to have to find a new name.

Citizens have been ordered they must be “trained” to change their names if they do have it.

This decree, which does not allow for anyone else to be named Kim Jong-Un, went into effect back in 2011. North Korean defector Park Jin-Hee who works for KBS had the document which was smuggled out of North Korea and contains the details of the decree, according to the Daily Mail.

Not surprisingly, however, this is not the first time that such a decree has been made. A government official pointed out that the Pyongyang regime banned citizens in the past from having the names of the presidents Kim Il-Sung and his son, Kim Jong-Il.

What will the Kim Dynasty ban next?
