Lance Armstronglast week confessed to Oprah Winfrey about using performance enhancing drugs throughout his career. Lance is a celebrated cyclist who has set record winning streaks with his performances.
His doping admission shocked not only fans but longtime friends like Matthew McConaughey as well. McConaughey, a fellow Texan and athlete talked to MTV Newsabout Armstrong’s confession over the weekend at the Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah, where the actor was promoting his movie Mud.
"My first reaction was I was pi**ed off. I was mad. I then got kind of sad for him. First off, I had a part of me that took it kind of personally, which I think a lot of people have." Matthew McConaughey and Lance Armstrong have been friends for years, so it's natural that McConaughey's first reaction was anger.
Sheryl Crow, Armstrong’s ex-fiancée also briefly discussed about Armstrong’s confession when she appeared on ‘Entertainment Tonight’. Crow said, "I felt bad.
