In a horrifying case of déjà vu, another Malaysia Airlines flight met a fatal end in confusing circumstances.
The Malaysia Airlines flight crashed in eastern Ukraine, and reports indicate the flight was shot down from the skies by a ground-to-air missile.
At this time, there's no confirmation who shot down the plane and why. A YouTube user quickly posted unverified video footage from the scene, above.
The plane came down near the Ukraine-Russia border, near where intense fighting between the Ukrainian army and separatists has thrown the region into chaos. Ukraine's interior minister quickly blamed the missile on militants, calling it a "Putin anti-aircraft missile" in a Facebook post.
The airplane, a 777, was carrying 295 people on board and flying from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur.

This latest tragedy comes just four months after Malaysia Airlines flight 370 mysteriously disappeared. Despite extensive searches, nothing has been recovered from the plane and officials aren't even sure where it crashed. Two hundred thirty nine people are presumed dead in that crash.
