In a radio interview with broadcaster and evangelical Christian James Dobson, Republican Michele Bachmann pointed out how the House of Representatives voted against the Affordable Care Act aka Obamacare. She expressed her hopes that the Senate would do the same to the reform.
She started off by saying how the House of Representatives passed her repeal for the Obamacare which had induced a renewed confidence in her. She said that a time would come when President Obama will be forced to ‘repudiate’ his own signature piece of legislation because the American people will demand it.
“And I think before the end of his second term we will see a miracle before our eyes and God will answer our prayers and we’ll be freed from the yoke of Obamacare,” Michele Bachmann said.
“I believe that’s going to happen and we saw step one last week with the repeal of Obamacare in the House. We have two more steps. We serve a mighty God and I believe it can happen.”
Michele Bachmann last week, while addressing the IRS tea party scandal, highlighted that the efforts to repeal Obamacare had been revived after the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) admitted that it had targeted conservative groups to check if they had abused their tax-exempt status.
She said, “Many people said this issue was dead, many people have said that Obamacare is here to stay.”It was also said that Bachmann had used the IRS scandal to discredit Obamacare.
In her recent the radio interview, Bachmann has made it clear that she wants to take matters to a point where Obama will reject his own legislation.
