Looking at Mitt Romney trying to ‘connect’ with the voters is similar to watching a novice parallel parking. It really doesn’t matter how hard they try, it never quite works!
‘Never mind , the space was really small!’ or other similar condolences are offered to Mitt Romney when he finishes a rally, address or interviews. People punctuate it with a ‘Well, but he’s a great business man!’
Mitt Romney somehow always manages to say something that people can’t relate to, but are offended by!
Recently Romney during a fundraiser in Beverly Hills, Calif., Mitt Romney expressed his concerns over Ann Romney’s emergency plane landing and said:
“When you have a fire in an aircraft, there’s no place to go, exactly, there’s no — and you can’t find any oxygen from outside the aircraft to get in the aircraft, because the windows don’t open. I don’t know why they don’t do that. It’s a real problem. So it’s very dangerous....”
His complaint about sealed plane windows quickly went and people are making fun of Romney for not knowing about the risks involved with an open window, while there are others defending him saying, it might be just a joke.

Well this is nothing new. We are getting quite used to listening to unbelievable things from Mitt Romney, so it’s not difficult to find a few more instances where he has been caught saying some extremely absurd stuff.
Check out the list below:
"I like being able to fire people who provide services to me." –Mitt Romney, using an unfortunate choice of words while advocating for consumer choice in health insurance plans (January 2012)
Really? Who is this heartless?
"There are 47 percent of the people who will vote for the president no matter what. All right, there are 47 percent who are with him, who are dependent upon government, who believe that they are victims, who believe the government has a responsibility to care for them, who believe that they are entitled to health care, to food, to housing, to you-name-it. ... My job is not to worry about those people. I'll never convince them they should take personal responsibility and care for their lives."-Mitt Romney, in leaked comments from a fundraiser in May 2012. This is the worst thing Mitt Romney has said about Americans, yet!
Both my Dad and Anne’s Dad did quite well in their lives. But when they came to the end of their lives and pass along the inheritances to Anne and me, we both decided to give it all away. So, I have inherited nothing.’
This comment is from his leaked video which totally contradicts what Ann Romney has said. She has mentioned before that they struggled and lived off investments that Mitt's dad made for him- equivalent to about $377,000 in today's dollars and then, Mitt's dad gave them $42,000 for a house that they sold 7 years later for nearly $100,000.
Check out the video as well:
"I'll bet you $10,000" Mitt Romney’sproposed a $10,000 bet with Texas Gov. Rick Perry over a disagreement on health care policy.
Seriously? Bet $10,000! People don’t earn this much in a month!
Check out this video which is a compilation of all the strange, stupid and scary things he has said:
Also have a look at some bonus quotes that he has blessed us with time to time!
"Corporations are people, my friend… of course they are. Everything corporations earn ultimately goes to the people. Where do you think it goes? Whose pockets? Whose pockets? People's pockets. Human beings, my friend." —Mitt Romney to a heckler at the Iowa State Fair who suggested that taxes should be raised on corporations as part of balancing the budget, August 2011.
"My dad, as you probably know, was the governor of Michigan and was the head of a car company. But he was born in Mexico... and had he been born of, uh, Mexican parents, I'd have a better shot at winning this. But he was unfortunately born to Americans living in Mexico. He lived there for a number of years. I mean, I say that jokingly, but it would be helpful to be Latino." -Mitt Romney, in leaked comments from a Florida fundraiser, May 17 2012.
"It's hard to know just how well [the 2012 London Olympics] will turn out. There are a few things that were disconcerting. The stories about the private security firm not having enough people, the supposed strike of the immigration and customs officials that obviously is not something which is encouraging." –Mitt Romney, insulting Britain on the eve of the Olympics by suggesting the country is not ready, NBC News interview, July 25, 2012
"No one's ever asked to see my birth certificate. They know that this is the place that we were born and raised." —Mitt Romney, speaking about his Michigan roots during a rally in Commerce, Michigan, Aug. 24, 2012
Many people say stupid things but most of them aren't running for president. Also, it does seem that Mr. Romney says something stupid more often than any other political personality! All of these things that he says are based more on his own stupidity and a few of his statements are really scary and reveal how he really feels.
