A lot of people were very excited about Felix Baumgartner’s record breaking jump from space. He made the leap from 24 miles up in space and shattered the sound barrier but MSNBC got a bit too carried away in their excitement and added falling ‘faster than speed of light” to their list of records as well.

Felix worked for about five years with more than 70 engineers, scientists and physicians to make the four-minute, 20-second free fall which made history. His goal was to break records of highest sky dive, fastest free fall, and biggest balloon to carry a person into the sky. Had he known, MSNBC had some more higher expectation from him, the daredevil that he is, he would no doubt added them to his agenda!
