The Vacaville Reporter reported Sunday that one person was injured when one of the devices detonated. Witnesses said the injured man was airlifted from the neighborhood after he went to retrieve a newspaper from his doorstep.

Residents in the neighborhood said they received a reverse 911 call warning them to stay away from packages or items left in front of their homes. Residents said they were being evacuated from the neighborhood by authorities.

The Fire Department said a police bomb squad was on scene to investigate and remove suspicious items from the neighborhood.
