The chief strategist for the Republican National Convention recently compared a line from Melania’s speech to a quote from the show “My Little Pony.”

A Republican official defended Melania Trump’s fraud speech by referencing a line from the television show “My Little Pony.”

Melania Trump was famously criticized for her plagiarized speech at the Republican National Convention that was eerily similar to Michelle Obama’s speech, according to BuzzFeed.

Sean Spicer, the Republican National Convention chief strategist, Googled phrases from her recent speech and found similar comparisons online.

“Melania Trump said, ‘The strength of your dreams and willingness to work for them,’" Spicer said. “Twilight Sparkle from 'My Little Pony' said, ‘This is your dream. Anything you can do in your dream you can do now.'”

Along with borrowing a line from “My Little Pony,” Spicer said another line from her controversial speech was also similar to a well-known singer, Slate reported.

“Melania Trump said, ‘You work hard for what you get in life.’ John Legend said, ‘Work hard to be anything you want in life,'” Spicer said.

For once, we agree with a Republican. Trump's lines from her speech are similar to “My Little Pony,” because she is unoriginal and childish to plagiarize such an important speech.
